Prize winner Mr Thompson from Teesside chose Prostate Cancer UK  as one of our nominated charities to receive our £250 cash boost.

Prostate Cancer UK’s top priority is funding research so to stop Prostate Cancer killing men. The charity invests millions of pounds in order to find better Prostate Cancer treatments and tests.

The charity has been kept in the public eye by the likes of Ben Stiller, Sir Ian McKellen and Robert De Niro – who have publically spoken about their experience of the disease.  Consequently, such public attention has raised awareness of one of the UK’s most common cancers.
