Mrs Carol Taylor
From helping her parents with competitions to winning over £1,000 herself, Carol’s story is a brilliant example of how Puzzle Digest brings families together — and keeps the wins coming.

Carol Taylor’s story is exactly what Puzzle Digest is all about — family, fun, and a little bit of luck along the way.
Her journey with the magazine began years ago, helping her dad with the competitions. Even as he battled dementia, Puzzle Digest became something they could enjoy together — a shared activity that brought moments of focus, enjoyment, and connection. Later, Carol continued that same tradition with her mum, helping her take part from bed, turning each puzzle into time well spent together.
Although both of her parents have sadly passed, their love of puzzles lives on.
Today, Carol continues the tradition with her niece Kelly, keeping the family connection alive through every issue. It’s more than just puzzles — it’s become a shared experience passed down through generations.
And along the way, there’s been plenty of success too.
Between Carol and her parents, they’ve enjoyed wins across just about every competition — from wordsearches and Spot the Ball to Bingo and prize draws. Carol herself has won over £1,000, and even helped secure a fantastic donation from Puzzle Digest for their favourite charity, N Vision.
For Carol, Puzzle Digest really is “the magazine that just keeps giving.”
Her story is a perfect reminder of what makes the magazine so special — it’s not just about prizes, it’s about the people, the memories, and the moments shared along the way.
And as Carol puts it best: “You’ve got to be in it to win it.”
